Getting Started

How do I add a pet?

On the Today screen, tap the + button (top right) and enter your pet's name, species, and date of birth. You can add multiple pets and switch between them from the same screen.

Can I add more than one pet?

Yes. Zhiva supports multiple pets on one account. Tap the pet selector at the top of the Today screen to switch between pets or add a new one.

Health Records

How do I upload a vet document?

Tap Vault in the tab bar, then tap + to scan or import a document. Zhiva supports scanning with your iPhone camera (Zhiva Premium) and importing PDF or image files from your Files app.

My scan is stuck uploading. What should I do?

Zhiva queues scans offline and uploads when connectivity is restored. If a scan is stuck after you have a stable connection, close and reopen the app. If the issue persists, contact us at support@zhiva.app with the device model and iOS version.

Subscriptions and Billing

How do I manage or cancel my Zhiva Premium subscription?

Go to iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Zhiva. From there you can change your plan or cancel auto-renewal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Premium access until then.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple ID you used to purchase the subscription.

I was charged but my subscription shows as inactive. What do I do?

Try restoring purchases: open Zhiva → Settings → Restore Purchases. If the issue persists after restoring, email us at support@zhiva.app with your Apple ID (no password needed) and approximate purchase date.

Privacy and Data

How do I delete my account and data?

Email support@zhiva.app with the subject line "Delete my account." We will process your request within 30 days. All pet records, documents, and account data will be permanently removed.

Does Zhiva share my pet's data with third parties?

No. Your pet's health records are stored in your account and are not shared with or sold to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for the full details on what we collect and why.
